Tension Control Systems

We have three types of tensioning system based on requirement usage:

Mechanical tension control system.
Electrical tension control system.
Electronic tension control system.

Mechanical Tensioning Systems:

These are inexpensive and easy to use systems that can be used with externally unwinding spools and provide friction based tension in one direction.

Electrical Tension Control System:

Without fiber pull back.
Description: This is an electrical brake type tensioning system wherein the tension can be adjusted digitally using a knob. This will also include a digital display system. This tensioner does not have roll back option.

With fiber pull back (fiber slack control).
Description: This is an electrical brake type tensioning system wherein the tension can be adjusted digitally using a knob. This will also include a digital display system. This tensioner has roll back option, in order to eliminate fiber slack.Use photo1 attachment.

Electronic Tension Control Systems:

Sync signal with winding machine	Tensioner can be synced with machine
Fiber breakage detection	Breakage detection and machine stop signal output
Input:	Fully PLC controlled setup, with touch screen input
No of Drives + Motors	2 Servo Drives + Motors.
Graphing and Data Output	Data output available via USB
Dispensed fiber logging	FiberPayout counter to measure length of fiber consumed.
Spool size	Can be custom designed to handle large or small spools.
Tapes/Prepreg	Can be custom made to accept tapes or Prepreg Materials
Power requirements	220 Single Phase 50/60 Hz.

Tape Winding Attachments:

These attachments allow tensioned tape to be dispensed onto the mandrel. The tension is adjustable. We can design the system to accommodate various widths of tape as per your requirement.

Sand Filling Stations:

This system consists of a hopper, vibrator and conveyor belt mounted above the fiber winding, to add any sand like material to your product during the winding process. The amount of material being added can be controlled. You can also program the specific layers into the machine that need the material added.
